| Food Grade Amalgon tubing is a fiber reinforced thermoset composite material specifically designed for use as a replacement for stainless steel tubing in direct food contact applications. The ultra-smooth interior surface finish of 15 Ra is ideal for any food service application. These materials are impervious to caustic cleaning solutions and can be sanitized using conventional cleaning methods. The composite material is 75% lower in weight than stainless steel and is easy to machine. |
